A message from our Executive Director:
Womentum began nearly twenty years ago with a bold idea to bring women together in a supportive environment to learn, provide mutual support, and bring about meaningful change in one’s circle of influence, however that may be defined.
This spring we concluded our 18th cohort of Womentoring, our signature 9-month mentoring program on which we were founded. Today our Alumnae community is now 500+ strong, most of whom still reside in the greater Teton area. Since our founding, we’ve expanded to serve the greater community through public programming: workshops, speaker events, and our annual Leadership Summit.
I’m delighted to share with you highlights of our programming since I took the helm as ED in September. Because the cohort began their mentorship journey as I was starting my new role, it was memorable to celebrate our respective journeys together. True to most experiences with Womentum, I was just as inspired by our participants (if not more so!) as they were by these experiences.
I am immensely grateful for the support that our board, alumna, donors, and program participants have shown as Elisabeth and I build the next chapter in the future of Womentum. As you’ll soon hear when we announce our 2024 Leadership Summit details, our theme of “Embracing Our Roots, Together We Rise” is the perfect nod to both our history and our bright future ahead.
