Margaret McKeown. Teton County Commissioner, Natalia Duncan Macker will interview Judge Mckeown and discuss the importance of “Trusting Your Judgement.”
Born and raised in Casper, and graduate of University of Wyoming, Judge McKeown is immediate past chair of the ABA Rule of Law Initiative and a current special advisor. She has lectured throughout the world on international law, human rights law, intellectual property, litigation, ethics, judicial administration, and constitutional law and has participated in numerous rule of law initiatives with judges and lawyers. Judge Mckeown was also a great friend to Ruth Bader Ginsberg, who served as her mentor for many years. A frequent visitor to Jackson Hole, Judge McKeown currently serves on the Board of the Teton Science Schools.
Following Justice McKeown’s keynote, we are excited for two personal development workshops that will provide tools for living and leading with integrity.

Workshop Descriptions
Workshop #1 Having Difficult Conversations/Internal Activism: Authentic Power
How do we have difficult conversations? By communicating authentically. In this workshop, you are invited to do the courageous work of speaking up and making changes, so that you can show up fully in your profession and your relationships differently and with more confidence. Join Professional Counselor, Daniela Peterson, and Leadership Development Coach, Jamil Higley, for a deep dive into identifying your inner spark, your capacity for emotional intelligence, and the passion that connects you to your inner wisdom and your ability to lead.
Workshop #2 Work/Life Balance: Cultivating Awareness, Energy & Principles with Strategic Consultant, Erin Taylor of Cheyenne.
Scrap the personality tests, birth order theories and leadership assessments. Learn how to locate your energy, build a sustainable model for self-care, and live in your values to find balance and bring out the intuitive leader within. This workshop is based on the three methods for bringing balance to your life – learn how to locate where your energy resides, build a model for self-care, and really dig into and define your values.
