2018 The 2018 Women in Leadership Summit explored the theme of “Courage to Lead.” Keynote speaker Bettina Whyte addressed the courage to be true to yourself, being a female leader in a predominantly male field and the importance of having mentors. Ms. Whyte has enjoyed a 30+ year career as a restructuring professional who has aided the turnaround of a number of multi-billion dollar companies. She has served as Interim CEO or Chief Restructuring Officer for domestic and international corporations in a variety of industries and remains one of the very few women who has succeeded in this male-dominated role. Following the keynote address and coffee reception, attendees will circulate between three, 90-minute breakout sessions led by local and regional facilitators. The breakout sessions will focus on three aspects of leadership: Personal Leadership, Public Leadership, and Communications for Leadership.
