Womentum announced that Executive Director Kristen Fox will step down from her role on April 10, 2026, after a tenure marked by meaningful growth in fundraising, community reach, and program impact, together with our Program Director, Elisabeth Rohrbach.
During her time at Womentum, Fox strengthened the organization’s flagship nine-month mentoring program, expanded its philanthropic support, and deepened its presence in the Jackson community. Under her leadership, giving through the June Luncheon and Old Bill’s Fun Run reached record levels, and Womentum hosted Jackson’s first-ever keynote delivered in Spanish with live interpretation — a milestone that welcomed more women into the organization’s programs and events.
Reflecting on her time with the organization, Fox shared:
“I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together and deeply grateful for the relationships built through this work. Womentum’s mission to inspire and connect women to thrive as leaders has guided every step of my time here. Like so many women who participate in our programs, I’ve been challenged to see new possibilities for myself during this chapter. As I look ahead to what’s next, I do so surrounded by an incredible community of support and grounded in the belief that women can succeed and thrive.”
Board Chair Lina Collado expressed gratitude for Fox’s leadership and shared confidence in what comes next.
“Kristen brought a level of care and intentionality to this work that has left a real mark on Womentum and on the women we serve. We are grateful for everything she built and the strong foundation she leaves behind. The board is committed to honoring that foundation — working closely with Elisabeth and our community to ensure Womentum continues to grow and deliver on the mission we all believe in.”
Program Director Elisabeth Rohrbach will continue leading Womentum’s mentoring program and programming. The board is rallying around Elisabeth as a cornerstone of the organization’s next chapter — committed to strengthening and growing the Womentoring program and the impact Womentum delivers across the greater Jackson community.
During this transition, the Womentum Board of Directors will oversee the organization, evaluate the best path forward for leadership, programming, and operations, and ensure the organization remains sustainable and true to its core mission.
