“From Alabama Roots to Wyoming Heights”: Womentum’s Executive Director Kristen Fox Featured in the Wyoming Tribune Eagle

Womentum is thrilled to celebrate our Executive Director, Kristen Fox, who was recently featured in the Wyoming Tribune Eagle for her remarkable journey from the South to the Tetons, and from banking to leading a nonprofit rooted in inspiring and connecting women to thrive as leaders.

The article highlights Kristen’s ability to pair vision with heart, a hallmark of her leadership that has carried her through more than two decades of professional and community service.

Before stepping into nonprofit leadership, Kristen built an impressive career in banking, starting as a teller and eventually managing high-performing teams known for their client relationships and trust. Yet throughout that journey, her passion for community service never wavered. She volunteered with organizations like Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Teton Area, Mental Health & Recovery Services of Jackson Hole, and Astoria Park Conservancy, before joining the Womentum Board of Directors, where she would later become Executive Director in 2023.

As the Tribune Eagle feature makes clear, Kristen’s story is one of adaptability, courage, and a steadfast belief in the power of connection. Her leadership reflects both deep empathy and practical drive, qualities that define Womentum’s mission and continue to strengthen the network of women leaders across Wyoming and beyond.
