As we reflect on the past 12 months, Womentum has accomplished many firsts and has much to be grateful for! We invite you to sign-up to our eNewsletter to receive communications like this via email!
1. The Womentum Leadership Summit featured the return of Bonnie Wan for her first-ever full day Life Brief immersion, along with Keynote Presenter Ruth Rathblott, and Lander-based Integral Coaches Liz Hardwick and Lindsay Priefert.

Watch the recordings, learn about Liz and Lindsay’s Integral Coaching expeditions, purchase Ruth’s book Singlehandedly: Learning to Unhide and Embrace Connection, and order Bonnie’s The Life Brief: A Playbook for No-Regrets Living!
2. Womentum’s Executive Director Sam Eddy concluded her successful 5-year tenure by launching Womentum’s first-ever Old Bill’s booth, while passing the leadership torch to past board member Kristen Fox.

3. Upon the conclusion of Womentoring‘s 15th cohort in May, we welcomed 30 amazing women to the 16th cohort, bringing our total alumnae community to over 500 women strong!

4. We embraced International Women’s Day (March 8th) with Womentum’s first-ever March Onward: A Celebration of Women event featuring four amazing Jackson Hole women! (We’re planning 2024’s celebration in conjunction with International Women’s Day–more to come!)

5. This summer alumna from cohorts as far back as the first-ever in 2006 (shout out Amy McCarthy!) gathered for Alumnae Small Group Dinners.

6. The Snake River Grill opened its doors to us for our spring fundraising luncheon featuring Kate Williams, CEO of 1% for the Planet. As her first time speaking to a room of all women, Kate shared her seven life mantras, including: 1) Know your why, 2) Do the best that you can in the place that you are and be kind, 3) Ask for what you want, and 4) Take up space — and make space.

7. In January the Board of Directors worked to envision the next chapter for Womentum. Two key decisions were made to set the path for the future. First, a new mission statement was unveiled: inspiring and connecting women to thrive as leaders. Second, Womentum grew the team, welcoming not one but two of its first-ever full-time employees: an Executive Director and Program Director. This growth built upon a strong legacy created by Sam Eddy and Melissa Cassutt.
8. The Hughes Charitable Foundation awarded Womentum with our first-ever significant grant to invest in growing the Womentum team! And we secured continued leadership support from business partner First Interstate Bank for further growth.

Thank you – Hughes Charitable Foundation and First Interstate Bank – for launching this next chapter! We are excited to build upon our solid foundation.
9. Elisabeth, Ponteir Sackrey (Board Chair), and Kristen enjoyed lunch with Mickey Babcock, of the Equipoise Fund, which funded Womentum’s inception in 2005(!). What a full-circle moment!

We are blown away by all Womentum has accomplished in 2023! Thank you to everyone who made it possible!
